Who is Glaucus ?
Glaucus was a fisherman and diver from Boeotia. After eating the herb, Glaucus became immortal and transformed into a god with a fish tail instead of legs. He was also given the gift of prophecy.
Glaucus helped fishermen and sailors at sea, and was believed to come to their rescue during storms. He also appeared to the Argonauts during their voyage, calming the wind and waves and foretelling the future of some of the Argonauts.
